Face Book asks what’s on my mind….WARNING NOTICE Attempted Felony theft by Marty’s GMC dealership in Kingston. Failed attempt……

My 2014 GMC Sierra, (that I bought from Marty’s GMC) inexplicably lost power, I had it towed to Marty’s on the same day, Saturday Jan 27th.
They were able to get to it on Tuesday Jan 30th. At 1:00 PM Tuesday I was called at home by the Service Department, this person explained that they had located the issue under the Sill plate of my drivers side door. He explained that moisture had corroded the wiring and that they would need to replace a section of that wiring.

He explained that their policy was to ask for the customer’s permission prior to doing any work. I asked if it was hard to get to? He said that they remove the outer cover and under that was another cover they would unscrew to expose the wiring.

I asked how much, he said between $500 and $600 hundred dollars with parts and 5 hours labor. (I thought 5 hours labor sounded odd after I hung up), but I gave permission to do the work. This transpired at 1:00 PM remember.

At 2:30 PM only 1 1/2 hours later, I went to pick up some things from Lowes in my sons truck, as I went by Marty’s I see my truck out in their lot. So I stop and take a picture of it on my phone. Now I am curious. I go to Lowes and buy my items, on the way back past Marty’s at 3:00 PM I still see my truck in their lot……
I take another picture on my phone.

At 3:04 Marty’s calls me, the Service Department tells me the truck is all apart and they are working on it in the bay and that should be able to come get it between 4:30 and 5 PM….I just looked at it outside in their lot 4 minutes ago…..I say, “so its in the bay and they are working on it?” to make him repeat the statement, he said ‘yes’.

I go pick up my wife and go straight back to Marty’s, my truck is STILL sitting outside in the same spot in the lot at 3:23 PM….

We go inside and we ask to see the General Manager in his office. I outline this story to him and tell him that Marty’s has now lost all credibility with me. That the problem that had been outlined to me on the phone was probably not the real issue at all. The truck was in the lot, and they wanted to charge me for 5 hours labor for time that they obviously did not spend, that is Felony THEFT! (Theft of $250 or more is a felony)

The General Manager went to talk to the shop and service department. When he came back he claimed it was a communications problem, the head of the shop had the mechanic fix the problem without telling the service department…..

I said that I know your policy is to call the customer BEFORE any work is done, so the shop manager violated that policy?? And I pointed out that this did not explain why the Service Department called me at 3:04 and told me the truck was apart and would be ready by 5 PM? As if he was actually looking at it in the bay himself?

The General Manager said that he would “eat the bill” and that there would be No Charge, he put N/C on the bill. The Bill states a $550 labor charge, and the Part was only $4.00?, a Misc. charge of $27.50?, (must have been for their lunch), tax of $1.97? with a total of $583.47………It costs $550.00 to put in a $4.00 part?? What cost only $4.00 on a truck???

The General Manager said that this was an “isolated incident”, I said the only thing ‘isolated’ about it was that I came by and caught the fraud, something that I suppose never happens, that is why it was ‘isolated’!! I would have been the one to ‘eat the bill’ if I had not been off from work that day….

This is a heads up to anyone that has or will have dealings with Marty’s GMC in Kingston.
I can never trust them again, and will never go back there. This is how they treat a customer who has bought two trucks from them? Beware.

Honesty and integrity are things that SHOULD happen when no one is looking.

The Reciprocity bill that just passed the House and is headed for the Senate has 14 states angry. Maura Healy, the AG of Ma. is all in a ‘tizzy’ over this bill. She makes wild un-researched claims that the police will be put in grave danger if this bill is signed by President Trump! In essence she is trying to convince all the sheepeople that this bill will cause wide spread mayhem and destruction,,, blood will run in rivers down the streets! OMG!!! Either she thinks that everyone is that stupid, or she actually IS that stupid….. and that doesn’t say much for people who allowed her to be in that position…

Why would police be suddenly in danger Maura? Explain that with a little more scientific authority to back up that claim and less irrational emotion would you please?  There are already reciprocity licenses out there, Utah and Florida for instance issue them good for 36 states each, + or -, whom already honor them. There is no blood running in the streets of those 36 states, at least not by lawful license holders……

The people that have these licenses have all been fully vetted by the police prior to receiving the license, they are good people. The police should feel good that the person they pull over for what ever reason, has a national carry license. I would be more concerned about the ones who don’t…..if I was concerned at all.

I will just sum this up. We have all heard the media and certain politicians scream about ‘gun control’ when ever there is a criminal who commits a crime with a gun. They never talk about crime control, do they.

The 14 states in question that would all be against this bill have some things in common. They are all run by democrats, the majority of their  cities are all overrun with violent crime and are struggling to survive, the democrats have run them for decades and like to keep things status quo. Gun control to these political deviants means ‘CONTROL’ over the sheep, nothing more, nothing less. They abhor the Constitution and the Second Amendment in particular. They distain the oath to office they took to gain public office, and have, long ago, forgotten that they are public servant’s…..

I hope the Reciprocity bill passes the Senate and that President Trump signs it, as he said he would, just so I can sit back and watch all those despicable politicians in those 14 states, and the media everywhere go insane. That will be funny to watch!

Mark Shean Sr, author of GUN SENSE, on Amazon.

If you own a KSG shotgun you know that there is a series of numbers and letters instead of  a conventional serial number on it, you may be curious as to the actual number of your gun, I was so I did a bit of research to figure out my guns number.

Here is what I found.

The letters mean a number; A=10, B=11, C=12, D=13, E=14, F=15, G=16, H=17, J=18, K=19, L=20, M=21, N=22, P=23, Q=24, R=25, S=26, T=27, U=28, V=29, W=30, X=31, Y=32, Z=33

You may have noticed that ‘I’ and ‘O’ were not used probably because they can easily be confused for other characters.

You set up the formula below to look exactly as I have put it in red, for every code.

        X 3400 =

100 X          =

 10  X          =

       X          =

Total=

Example; Lets say that the code on your KSG looks like this; X2Z28, you disregard the first letter X and put the number 2 in the top column and multiple by 2 in this example, it comes to 6800. You take the next letter, in this case a Z, if you look at the alphabet above the letter Z = 33, put 33 in the second column and multiply by 100. Now take the next number, the 2 again, and put it in the third column and multiply by 10. Now take the last number 8 and put it in the last column and multiply by 1 every time. Add all the numbers and it comes out to 10,128 in this example.

      2   X   3400 = 6800

100  X    33       =  3300

 10   X     2        =   20

   8  X       1      =     8

              Total10,128

This would be the actual number of the KSG as it was produced. A low serial number, a first generation in this case. That’s how you figure out what the code on your gun means.

I hope this is helpful. Mark Shean

My new #GUN SENSE book, Rated #1 at AMAZON in the Shooting section!! For anywhere where good people and guns come together.  Firearm education saves lives, firearm ignorance can end lives.

Muslim refugees, they have no thought to assimilate, only to kill those who are not Muslim, great ‘religion’ they have, they destroy the fabric of every country dumb enough to let them in………..we do not need them here. There is plenty of space from very rich countries in the Middle East, let them step up…..

Dont feel too sorry for them, if you are not a Muslim they fully believe that they must kill you. Brainwashed from birth, that is not something that can just be undone through what we consider kindness,,,,raise a rattlesnake as nicely as you can and guess what, it will still bite you!

America and Americans FIRST!

SANCTUARY CITIES:

There are in the neighborhood of  200 so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ around the United States.

The elected officials running many of these cities have come out publicly since President Elect Trump won the election on November 8th to proclaim to the world that they will not enforce the laws that deal with illegal aliens, and that they welcome illegal aliens to their ‘sanctuaries’.

Their stance in and of itself is illegal, and a premeditated criminal act. They took office swearing to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, this would automatically include all laws passed by Congress. They have become traitors to that oath.

I will boil it down in this way; If a bank robber fleeing from the law showed up at your door because he knew of you, and he asked for you to shelter him until the ‘heat’ blew over, and you agreed, what would that make you? You would now knowingly be harboring a fugitive from justice. If caught you would be charged as an accomplice in the crime and sentenced accordingly for harboring a fugitive from justice, aiding and abetting.

For these elected officials to publically take the stance that they willingly/knowingly harbor criminals that have come into our country illegally they also are aiding and abetting. They are engaged in sedition against the citizens of the United States.  In doing so, should an illegal alien commit a crime against any American citizen, the elected officials running the city where the crime was committed are liable for the actions of that illegal alien, and should be arrested and tried with that illegal alien. If that crime be murder they should also be tried for murder, and sentenced accordingly when found guilty.

This is not some far flung theory, it is a fact that immigration laws are being broken and politicians are encouraging it. Officials in office are ignoring the safety of American citizens they swore an oath to protect in order to harbor illegal aliens. They must be arrested, heads must roll in order to bring back the rule of law, no one is above the laws no matter what their ‘title’ may be, or who they think they are, one such case will turn these ‘tough’ Mayors into quivering bowls of repentant jelly…….

Trump is correct when he says that the election is rigged. It is rigged because the media withholds important information that comes out daily shedding light on Hillary’s character and criminal activities. Lies by omission of facts is a form of ‘rigging’ the race in her favor.

Trump is correct when he says the election is rigged when all the moderators attack him with clever innuendo but use no such tactics with Hillary, trying to sway the public one way or another is not their job.

Trump is correct when he says the election is rigged through voter fraud, that is a FACT the media squashes, there are huge examples of this happening in the last few elections….all in the Dem-o-rats favor of course. Why not, criminal behavior is Hillary’s bread and butter.

Trump is correct that the election is rigged. It is rigged through the media driven polls that slant for Hillary in the hope you just stay home on election day……….DONT stay home, polls have been shown to lie over and over again, Reagan’s election was a prime example.

Trump is correct when he says the election is rigged when the media latches onto hearsay as fact, when any court in the country would toss the unsubstantiated accusations out instantly, but not the slanted media.

And last but not least, Trump is correct when he says the election is rigged when the power hungry GOP elites are against him and are disenfranchising millions of the ‘common’ people that nominated Trump to represent them. The media uses it against Trump in a way as to say that he must be bad, the GOP will not endorse him…….F**K the GOP!!

I say get out and VOTE, show all the power hungry elites that hate Trump that you know why they hate Trump…….because he/we are about to bring the power BACK TO WE THE PEOPLE by GOD!!

Feel free to SHARE if you Agree!

Attack in NICE France
An intolerant ‘religion’/ideology whose supporters preach that all so-called ‘non believers’ must be killed was never a real religion in the first place, it is a terrorist organization veiled in ‘religion’, it is a cancer, and like a cancer, for the survival of the body/world it has infected, it must be surgically removed once and for all, for the survival of this world.
I believe that the attack by the demented follower of this ‘religion’, using a huge truck, should finally be a ‘wake up’ call to the nations of the world to unite, even briefly, to remove this ideology/cancer once and for all.
That will never be accomplished by empty posturing and foolish agenda driven rhetoric on how to disarm honest Americans every time an evil event like this occurs. The attack in Nice France was so horrific/twisted/sick and heart breaking it could only be topped by something nuclear the next time.
Are our so-called ‘leaders’ stupid/foolish enough to allow that to happen while sitting on their thumbs?

I had never heard of the 13th hand story before. Very poignant.

Six BOYS AND 13 HANDS

Each year I am hired to go to a Washington, DC, with the eighth grade class from Clinton, WI, where I grew up, to videotape their trip.  I greatly enjoy visiting our Nation’s Capital, and each year I take some special memories back with me.  This fall’s trip was especially memorable.

On the last night of our trip, we stopped at the Iwo Jima Memorial.  This memorial is the largest bronze statue in the world and depicts one of the most famous photographs in history…that of the six brave soldiers raising the American Flag at the top of a rocky hill on the island of Iwo Jima, Japan, during WW II.

Over one hundred students and chaperones piled off the buses and headed towards the memorial.  I noticed a solitary figure at the base of the statue, and as I got closer he asked, ‘Where are you guys from?’

I told him that we were from Wisconsin.  ‘Hey, I’m a cheese head, too!  Come gather around, Cheese heads, and I will tell you a story’.

(It was James Bradley who just happened to be in Washington, DC, to speak at the memorial the following day.  He was there that night to say good night to his dad, who had passed away.  He was just about to leave when he saw the buses pull up.  I videotaped him as he spoke to us, and received his permission to share what he said from my videotape.  It is one thing to tour the incredible monuments filled with history in Washington, DC, but it is quite another to get the kind of insight we received that night.)

When all had gathered around, he reverently began to speak.  Here are his words that night.

‘My name is James Bradley and I’m from Antigo, Wisconsin.  My dad is on that statue, and I wrote a book called ‘Flags of Our Fathers.’  It is the story of the six boys you see behind me.

‘Six boys raised the flag.  The first guy putting the pole in the ground is Harlon Block.  Harlon was an all-state football player.  He enlisted in the Marine Corps with all the senior members of his football team.  They were off to play another type of game.  A game called ‘War.’  But it didn’t turn out to be a game.  Harlon, at the age of 21, died with his intestines in his hands.  I don’t say that to gross you out, I say that because there are people who stand in front of this statue and talk about the glory of war.  You  guys need to know that most of the boys in Iwo Jima were 17, 18, and 19 years old – and it was so hard that the ones who did make it home never even would talk to their families about it.

(He pointed to the statue) ‘You see this next guy?  That’s Rene Gagnon from New Hampshire.  If you took Rene’s helmet off at the moment this photo was taken and looked in the webbing of that helmet, you would find a photograph…a photograph of his girlfriend Rene put that in there for protection because he was scared.  He was 18 years old.  It was just boys who won the battle of Iwo Jima…Boys…not old men.

‘The next guy here, the third guy in this tableau, was Sergeant Mike Strank.  Mike is my hero.  He was the hero of all these guys.  They called him the ‘old man’ because he was so old.  He was already 24.  When Mike would motivate his boys in training camp, he didn’t say, ‘Let’s go kill some Japanese’ or ‘Let’s die for our country.’  He knew he was talking to little boys.  Instead he would say, ‘You do what I say, and I’ll get you home to your mothers.’

‘The last guy on this side of the statue is Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian from Arizona.  Ira Hayes was one of them who lived to walk off Iwo Jima.  He went into the White House with my dad.  President Truman told him, ‘You’re a hero.’  Ira told reporters, ‘How can I feel like a hero when 250 of my buddies hit the island with me and only 27 of us walked off alive?’

So you take your class at school, 250 of you spending a year together having fun, doing everything together.  Then all 250 of you hit the beach, but only 27 of your classmates walk off alive.  That was Ira Hayes.  He had images of horror in his mind.  Ira Hayes carried the pain home with him and eventually died dead drunk, face down, drowned in a very shallow puddle, at the age of 32 (ten years after this picture was taken).

‘The next guy, going around the statue, is Franklin Sousley from Hilltop, Kentucky.  A fun-lovin’ hillbilly boy.  His best friend, who is now 70, told me, ‘Yeah, you know, we took two cows up on the porch of the Hilltop General Store.  Then we strung wire across the stairs so the cows couldn’t get down.  Then we fed them Epsom salts.  Those cows crapped all night.  ‘Yes, he was a fun-lovin’ hillbilly boy.  Franklin died on Iwo Jima at the age of 19.

When the telegram came to tell his mother that he was dead, it went to the Hilltop General Store.  A barefoot boy ran that telegram up to his mother’s farm.  The neighbors could hear her scream all night and into the morning.  Those neighbors lived a quarter of a mile away.

‘The next guy, as we continue to go around the statue, is my dad, John Bradley, from Antigo, Wisconsin, where I was raised.  My dad lived until 1994, but he would never give interviews.  When Walter Cronkite’s producers of the New York Times would call, we were trained as little kids to say ‘No, I’m sorry, sir, my dad’s not here.  He is in Canada fishing.  No, there is no phone there, sir.  No, we don’t know when he is coming back.’

My dad never fished or even went to Canada.  Usually, he was sitting there right at the table eating his Campbell’s soup.  But we had to tell the press that he was out fishing.  He didn’t want to talk to the press.

‘You see, like Ira Hayes, my dad didn’t see himself as a hero.  Everyone thinks these guys are heroes, ’cause they are in a photo and on a monument.  My dad knew better.  He was a medic.  John Bradley from Wisconsin was a combat caregiver.  On Iwo Jima he probably held over 200 boys as they died.  And when boys died on Iwo Jima, they writhed and screamed, without any medication or help with the pain.

‘When I was a little boy, my third grade teacher told me that my dad was a hero.  When I went home and told my dad that, he looked at me and said, ‘I want you always to remember that the heroes of Iwo Jima are the guys who did not come back; DID NOT come back.’

‘So that’s the story about six nice young boys…three died on Iwo Jima, and three came back as national heroes.  Overall, 7,000 boys died on Iwo Jima in the worst battle in the history of the Marine Corps.  My voice is giving out, so I will end here.  Thank you for your time.’

Suddenly, the monument wasn’t just a big old piece of metal with a flag sticking out of the top.  It came to life before our eyes with the heartfelt words of a son who did indeed have a father who was a hero.  Maybe not a hero for the reasons most people would believe, but a hero nonetheless.

Let us never forget from the Revolutionary War to the current War on Terrorism and all the wars in-between that sacrifice was made for our freedom…please pray for our troops.

Remember to pray praises for this great country of ours and also…please pray for our troops still in murderous places around the world.

REMINDER:

Every day that you can wake up free, it’s going to be a great day.

One thing I learned while on tour with my 8th grade students in DC that is not mentioned here is…that if you look at the statue very closely and count the number of ‘hands’ raising the flag, there are 13.  When the man who made the statue was asked why there were 13, he simply said the 13th hand was the hand of God.

Great story…worth your time…worth every American’s time

By John Podhoretz,

Omar Mateen called the cops to pledge his fealty to ISIS

as he was carrying out his mass murderer in Orlando early Sunday morning. Twelve hours later, the president of the United States declared that “we have no definitive assessment on the motivation” of Omar Mateen but that “we know he was a person filled with hate.”

So I guess the president thinks Mateen didn’t mean it?

Here again, and horribly, we have an unmistakable indication that Obama finds it astonishingly easy to divorce himself from a reality he doesn’t like — the reality of the Islamist terror war against the United States and how it is moving to our shores in the form of lone-wolf attacks.

He called it “terror,” which it is. But using the word “terror” without a limiting and defining adjective is like a doctor calling a disease “cancer” without making note of the affected area of the body — because if he doesn’t know where the cancer is and what form it takes, he cannot attack it effectively and seek to extirpate it.

So determined is the president to avoid the subject of Islamist, ISIS-inspired or ISIS-directed terrorism that he concluded his remarks with an astonishing insistence that “we need the strength and courage to change” our attitudes toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

That’s just disgusting. There’s no other word for it, America’s national attitude toward LGBT people didn’t shoot up the Pulse nightclub. This country’s national attitude has undergone a sea-change in the past 20 years, by the way, in case the president hasn’t noticed.

An Islamist terrorist waging war against the United States killed and injured 103 people on our soil. We Americans do not bear collective responsibility for this attack. Quite the opposite.

The attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on us all, no less than the World Trade Center attack.

To suggest we must look inward to explain this is not only unseemly but practically an act of conscious misdirection on the president’ s part to direct out attention away from Omar Mateen’s phone call.

True to form, the president spoke more words about the scourge of guns than about the threat of terror. In doing so, he actually retards rather than advances the cause of gun control he so passionately advocates.

A president totally and credibly committed to the destruction of ISIS and other terror groups seeking to bring the war to us might earn the political and moral capital to seek more extensive limits on gun ownership.

A president who cannot name the enemy even as he anthropomorphizes the weapon the enemy is a president unable to bring anyone to his side who’s not already there.

To fight back against the evils of San Bernardino and Orlando, we do need change — and fortunately for us, it’s constitutionally mandated change. It’s the change required by the 22nd Amendment — the change that will compel Barack Obama to leave the White House on January 20, 2017 after completing his second term with America less safe than it was when he took office.

Note: This president and his entire administration is a disgusting example of cowardice in the face of terrorism. Blames guns, can not say that ISIS is out to kill us ALL!! His answer to these acts is always the same, Gun Control,,,what a fool.

In my opinion,

Trump is ahead and will remain there, not because he is ‘lucky’ but because people are totally fed up with Both parties. This has become an anti establishment movement. The GOP does not get it, the Democrats don’t get it, they still think they can do what they always do, tell the American public who the nominee will be by controlling the special interest money that puts their ‘anointed one’ in. Trump is self funding, he will owe nothing to the elite controlling D.C. or Wall St. Instead he will only need answer to the American People, how refreshing is that!……….

It really is about time that Americans have decided that ‘career’ politicians on both sides have long since had their way in destroying our country, they have financially driven America over the cliff! Our yet unborn great grandchildren will be paying for the mistakes and greed of this generation of politicians! Why the hell should they be given any more chances? The GOP thinks that we will allow it to saddle us with another ‘moderate’ that will do a whole lot of nothing for another four years ……Think Again GOP!!  The GOP hates Trump, he is upsetting their little wagon, too bad! If they hate him now just wait until he makes good on his word when the People elect him and he goes to work for us!

The only way the GOP will be able to rid themselves now of Trump would be to assassinate him, I fear for his safety and pray he has excellent security around him at all times.  Politics is the dirtiest of all dirty businesses.
